Why these are short

A procedure competes for attention with a customer standing three feet away, a phone ringing and a job running late. Anything longer than a screen gets skimmed, and a skimmed procedure gives you the paperwork without the behavior.

Every template here fits on a phone screen without scrolling twice. Where a job genuinely needs more detail, it is split into two procedures rather than padded into one.

Trades not listed yet

Roofing, landscaping and general contracting are being written now. The three published trades were chosen because their procedures overlap least, which meant writing them properly instead of renaming the same checklist three times.
